There is this Chevrolet truck, and I don’t know what its called. Its round on top, its a truck i know cause it has a bed. when you tell me what you think it is, get a picture so i can give you a best answer. also it looks like a volts wagon top.
A: Yeah, its the SSR, its like a pick up-wannabe-sports car. its comes with a V8 and has 300 hp. very nice truck. it was made from 2003 to 2006.

i have a 95 chevy truck with a 5.7 liter engine .i can start it but it will run for a minute .i replaced spark plugs ,cap and rotor ,wires ,oxygen censor,coolant temp censor.it just wont stay running.can somebody please help.
A: it could be dirty injectors. put a lil inject cleaner maybe to unclog them

Q: How hard is it to convert a 1954 Chevy truck from a manual to an automatic?
I’m thinking about getting a 1954 Chevy truck that’s currently a manual and i’d like to convert it to an automatic can anyone give advise on the cost to do such a thing?
A: It’s a lot less costly then trying to change from an auto to a manual.
Depending on whether you already have the tranny or not, it’s cost will have to be considered. If the truck is a SBC, them there are several transmissions that will interchange. The t350, t400, 200metric which has overdrive, and a 2 spd power-glide.
The clutch pedal assembly will need to be removed and all the linkage.
The transmission, clutch, pressure plate, shifter, pilot bearing, and flywheel will also need to be removed.
You will need the trans., torque converter, flywheel, different front drive-shaft yoke, and possibly the starter and cross-member will need to be replaced.
It is easier to add a floor shifter for your auto then to try and change out the steering column and run new linkage.
Price wise, your looking at around 500 for labor and at least 1000 for parts. Depending on where you are located the labor could double and depending on whether you want brand new parts or used parts, the price could reach 1500.
This is a time consuming job, but not an impossible one.

A: Replacing windows is the ultimate pain. You’d better put aside half a day. The parts should come with some instructions. Take your time, because if you get it all back together and it doesn’t work, then you’ve got to start over. I know because I replaced the window in my Dodge van. I’ll never do it again. I’d rather pay someone to do it.

A: If I had to guess I would say the 350T trans. That’s what GM used in most of their V8s during that period.
Q: What is the best way to install a windshield in a 1969 chevy truck?
i am having trouble putting the front windshield in my 69 chevy truck any tips on how to put it in?
A: this windshield uses a rubber seal. that rubber must be warm prior to the install and put around the windshield. when this is done, take a small nylon rope that has been sprayed with a lube(pb blaster, wd-40,etc) wrap it in the outer groove of the rubber seal. then lay the windshield over the opening of the truck, with the two ends of the rope at the center/ bottom of the glass. while someone is applying light pressure on the glass, slowing pulling both ends of the rope of the rubber seal over the lip of the body. this must be done slowly while massaging the windshield into place. after the rope has been pulled setting the rubber over the lip. continue the downward pressure until it has been fully set up. when you are all done. ally a trail of vasoline on the outside of the rubber, wiping the excess off afterwards. not that hard, takes patience, pressure, and two people.

Im am restoring a 38 chevy truck and im at the point where i need to install new window channel in the doors.
A: The best way is to take the interior trim panel off, rool the window down and snake it in from the top. Use silicon spray on both sides of the weatherstrip so it slides in easy.
I’ve already skiped pulling the interior panel and got lucky just sliding the weatherstrip down the edge of the window. If it gets stuck try rolling the window up a bit and push the weatherstrip down as you lower the window.

I have 1994 chevy pickup truck with early fuel injection. While looking for a vacuum leak I noticed one of the injectors dripping fuel. How hard is it to take that injector ssytem off and clean the injectors? What type of cleaner should I use? Or can I dump bottle of injector cleaner in the fuel tank first?
A: this injector is called a multech. by adding a cleaner to this system all you are cleaning is the screen. gm designed these to be throw away injectors. they are very cheap new. just put a new one in.

I bought a 99 Chevy Truck last year and I need to flush the radiator.
Im used to working on older cars and this truck doesn’t have the cap on top of the radiator like what I am used to.
